I agree/believe there is nothing wrong with your approach. You ask if you can pay a compliment and you aren't crude. I don't know what you look like so do you think if an unattractive guy were to do this would he get the same results? Would the women allow the compliment?

I was out with some buddies onetime and we saw this younger woman wearing a great red top that exposed most of her tits but kept them looking classy.

We commented on how good they look. He went up to her and made a comment again asking first. She smiled and thanked him. We later posed the question in our group, what if a less attractive member of the group did the same thing-results? We could not answer

Also on a side note I would love to hear someone doing this to my wife.
