Anyone who appreciates the pics of Deb will have noticed how gorgeous Fully Fashioned Nylons make the legs look the shine on the nylon the style and look of them is just so elegant and are they not sexier than anything else that might be worn on the legs?
Just some Trivia, most if not all of the pics show Debs of Canada wearing "fully fashioned nylons stockings" You can tell ff'd nylons from "modern" stockings by the keyhole above the seam on the back of the stocking top. Most if not all ff'd nylons are knitted on machines manufactured in the 40's and 50's there are only a few of these machines in full working order that's why ff'd nylons are so expensive. They are knitted flat and fashioned to the shape of the leg. On ff'd stockings the seam is formed when the stocking is sewn together to form a tube. Also all ff'd stockings start off life as WHITE they are dyed usually in about 5 "common colours" (Tan, Black, Grey Flesh Chocolate) with some shade variations depending on source.
There is NOT a lot of stretch in nylon unlike "modern" stockings that are made of Lycra and knitted in a tube. Size (leg length) when buying ff'd stockings is very important the stocking top should leave 50 to 75mm (2" to 3") of bare flesh on the inside of the leg.
There are 4 heel types POINT CUBAN HAVANA MANHATTAN. I have seen a variation on the Point style heel. One called Petite Point but sometimes referred to French Point not sure if these are the same. Attached pic shows the heel styles.
Some of the colours that Debs is wearing in some of the pics would be very hard to find. However here's an easy solution if you can't get the colour that you want, and the ladies may want to try the following. Buy plain WHITE nylons get some DYLON nylon dyes in the colour you want and dye the white nylons to match the colour of your garter belt (suspender belt) and other items of underwear. It's fairly easy to do and looks great having those unusual colours like yellow, green, orange purple etc.
