Let's talk about a TRUCE.
Why do people climb Mt. Everest?
Why do people collect dead butterflies and pin them on boards?
Why do people become Suicide Bombers?
I guess because they want to!
So people create Fakes for the same reason - and NO I don't understand why anyone would do any of the 4 activities mentioned. (That includes creating Fakes - as I pointed out in other threads!)
We all make mistakes - Post 1849 seems to think YOU made one in this thread! - and I have inadvertently posted apparent Fakes.
Now the terms of the TRUCE.
Is it possible for you to accept that:-
1) Some people - for a reason that you and I both don't understand (Yes we DO agree) - want to make Fakes
2) They have a democratic right to do so.
3) I certainly don't search for or deliberately post fakes.
4) Fakes will continue to appear in any thread despite both of us disliking them
5) Neither of us will take out a Personal Vendetta against the member who unintentionally posts a Fake - but woe betide the member who DELIBERATELY posts Fakes as the wrath of Casey and Counting Pixels, and many others, will descend upon them!
So is it a Truce?
