Well the good news on Newcastle is that it was comparable to London and Brighton.
The less good news is that I mean comparable only in their inaugural years. Maybe 50-60 riders, of which around ten were women. Of those- 4 topless, including just the one, familiar, voluptuous nude nudist. A friend who freelances for Alamy was there- here are some of his shots that they deselected, presumably because they're individual shots rather than of the wider ride.
I always assumed the numbers were so high because an invite was sent to an old Spencer Tunick mailing list, but had hoped more of them would own a bike

(if you're reading this Newcastle, prove me wrong next year!). Thunderstorms had been forecast for a week or so beforehand, but in the event there were just a couple of light showers with bouts of sunshine. Personally I'd say the UK weather this year was God's punishment for Nigel Farage.
There's also now a watermarked album on Flickr by user Nick Carter, from the start and end of the ride.
