It's a bummer about the London weather. We've learned over the years that female participation is highly dependent on at least decent temperatures.
On the good news front, I just checked the forecast for the various rides and for the first time in several years it's going to be hot for the Chicago WNBR--around 90F/32C at start time. Those who have been on this board for a while will recall that Chicago was one of the biggest rides in the world (at one point officially the largest, but possibly only because they did the most thorough job of counting), and produced some of the best photos. For about the last seven years it turned into a "Partially Clothed Bike Ride" as the temps had been in ranges best suited for a parka rather than bodypaint.
I'm hoping they pick up some of London's slack this year.
