Exactly - the riders all know that some photos will end up on the internet, but just want some respect. There are two things that will really help the rides continue and to grow -
1) Photographers - take respectful photos. Go for photos of smiling women, not intimate close ups. If you aren't happy showing what you just took to the rider, to their face, don't take it.
2) Forum members - enjoy the photos of the riders, but don't obsess over them. You don't know them, don't be creepy and try to look them up on social media and catalogue all their previous rides.
Do this and I reckon most women riders will be happy enough to keep on riding. Better yet, join us on a ride (but don't cover yourself or bike in cameras...) and you'll see what a special and wonderful thing WNBR is. It is so much more than the photos you see here.
