Let's face it. The female body is sexy in itself, and there is nothing wrong with admiring, or even "casually gawking" at any nudist place.
On a side note, there is another reason. Comfort. When my wife first started into nudism, well she was very self-conscious. She'd sit or lie with her legs shut. But she'd find it very uncomfortable, due to the friction of keeping her thighs together, and the ensuing sweatiness. Eventually she started throwing prudishness to the wind in order to be more comfortable. And so she kept her legs open; not unlike the pics below.
When she started going smooth; well at that point she didn't care anymore. I once asked her about the "change"; and she just told me it was comfortable to her, and she really didn't care about people noticing her "visible vulva." For her it was really about embracing complete nudity; and "to hell with the ogglers." I respected her stance. I didn't care that other people could "look." Her body; her choice. And I never had any incidents involving someone looking "too much."

There is a difference between someone looking from behind their computer and being there. In the nudist world, there is appreciation, but there is also usually respect. Did other guys look at my wife? Sure they did. I remember one time where my wife was bent over going through her bag; and a neighboring nudist made a jestful comment about it. We all laughed. I never got a reason to get upset about it.
