This is the oldest bra and panties match I've seen. The was back in 1988, AWA Super Clash 3. They had a lingerie battle royal. The story was you could win the match by either ripping the girl's clothes off, or throwing them over the top rope.

This match was a total bait-and-switch. Most girls just got thrown out of the ring. Amy The Farmer's Daughter had her dress ripped off, and she was wearing a whole another outfit on underneath it. It was very tame.

But when it came down to the last 2 (Amy and the Terrorist), Amy broke the script and peeled the Terrorist's tights off, then went for her shirt. You can see in the Terrorist's face she is no longer the 'mean girl' and has an embarrassed wtf-look on her face. She keeps frantically pulling her shirt down to cover her very ordinary-looking panties, so I doubt she expected to legit lose her clothes!
