Ah, I see. You must not be a One Click Pass member. You need to be a One Click Pass member to rate threads, as Alex described here:

Just to throw in my two cents here, as I stated in that thread, I find (and I think other posters might too) that a good written response to a thread you like goes a longer way and means a lot more to the poster than a thread rating does.
