I was in the area anyway so thought I'd go along to the start. Really, I just can't see the point in this ride happening when the turnout is so low. Other than a handful of curious people just outside the castle grounds, no one seemed remotely interested as the small group made its way into town. Weather was about ideal too - sunny and very warm. |
The local paper's website carried it live as a (female) reporter went round with them and yes it seems that there were no naked women and the number of people at the end was about the same as the start, so yeah 18 sounds about right.
I can't give full names as it breaks the rules here but to be clear 'Barry' is the organiser, the knob head I'm referring to is 'Simon' who cancelled the ride in Portsmouth, he also organises (and lives in) Folkestone. He was at the ride and he was the one who banned the Black guy on the fold up bike, I even saw him chasing the guy on Brighton beach, just goes to show what a power trip 'Simon' is on! The guy just took his shirt off, writes a 'No Fracking' slogan on his back and is now a fully paid up member of the WNBR!
These small rides are madness and do no good at all.
