I'm answering this question years after it was asked, but evidence would suggest bra style. The cardboard bras that women wear today tend to distort the breasts and leave them almost shapeless. The so-called "bullet bra" was designed to enhance, shape, and support the breasts—that's why they held their shape so beautifully, even into middle-age.
