I think what is "vintage" and what is "retro" is dependent upon your age. Obviously we would all say something from 1920 is vintage and/or retro. But to me what is vintage would be 80's and back. What's vintage to someone else might be from 2000 and back, or from 1970 or 1960 and back. It all depends on when we first came of age. We tend to view that point in time back as being vintage.
