wife hit on by her boss
When my wife first came to the U.S., she wanted to work, so she went to a Chinese employment agency, and immediately found a job a well-known Chinese restaurant, as the hostess - the one that greets you at the door, and sets you up with a waitress. It was pretty expensive restaurant, and the hostesses wore really nice long, formfitting dresses, which showed off the bustline, and even better, had a slit all the way up the sides. My wife looked pretty good in the dress, so I guess I can't blame her boss, a sleazy guy from Hong Kong, for hitting on her. After about a week of work, I noticed my wife wasn't so enthusiastic about going to the restaurant, and upon being pressed, finally admitted that her boss "kept touching her". My first thought was to be a little outraged, those things aren't allowed here in the U.S. On the other hand, I was quick enough to probe a little, and her boss was doing the usual subtle things like giving her a neck rub, and then a back rub, and then started to work his way around the front, so he was almost touching the sides of her breasts. Then, if he caught her sitting down, he would start to rub her legs, where the split in her dress allowed him to casually touch her upper thighs. when she pushed him away, trying to smile and be nice, he kept doing it - and when she more forcefully pushed him away, he hinted that she "ought to be nice to him, she had a very good job". I was going to offer to show up at work, and check things out, see if it was really that bad..but after another week, she said she had enough, and quit. I tried to get her to tell me what else had happened, but she just said he was a bad man, and kept touching her, so she finally quit. I'd love to know how far he pushed her, but my wife never would talk about it after that, and got mad if I pressed her...oh well, must have been something that pushed her over the edge.
This was not probably the most exciting post, but it is the truth! Check out my other posts, about when my wife was still in China, before I met her...there were a few stories that got my blood going, that is for sure! Wish I'd known her then!
