If you see the archive in members profile in flickr ..... then you can find the actual number of picture posted by them (containing private as well). Their profile page give less number of picture if there are hidden picture.
Now my question is, if the filckr member is in some group and if he/she post some of their private picture in the group ...will I BE ABLE TO SEE IT ?
Or do I also have to be friends of that member to see it
Or be member of that group to see them ?

If they post it to a group, it doesn't matter what your relation to them is (unless perhaps they've blocked you: I have no experience with that!); what matters is that
you have to be a member of that same group.
