if you look at the pictures, you get some clues:
- the phone, light switchs and a socket are American
- TV content and logos look American, too
- book titles are unreadable, but the big folder with IL on it, could be read as Illinois or Intermediate Language (for MS)
- the copy of the computer magazine seems to me: PC World
- in addition: the PC and the screen are rather old. I'm guessing the photos are from the late '90s, early '00s
Of course, there is no proof of U.S. nationality, but it's very probable.

Too bad that the hotel room guide, her books and the logos on the TV are not clear in this resolution. They might provide clues to her nationality—or at least what country she was visiting.
