The claim that they don't show genitals isn't true. It is true that it's not a gynecology magazine, so if you're looking for closeups, you're going to be disappointed. But women are in the magazine, full frontal, every month.
There was a short period (around 2011/12 I believe) when the current editor made the decision not to show anything except boobs in an attempt to persuade large retailers to stock the magazine somewhere other than the porn section. Readers complained, and a few months later, the editor announced that the largest high-street magazine retailer, WH Smith, had promised to stock the magazine, including full-frontal pictures, away from the jazz-mags. I have been to several WH Smith's since then, and haven't yet found one that stocks the magazine anywhere, so I don't know that her campaign can have been that successful.
