Both pokeballs arched through the air Lea’s first Pokemon was a fairly strong looking Pidgey whereas Lilith had summoned a Beedrill. Both flying Pokemon flew back and watched each other. Pidgey was technically weaker but Beedrill had been a rushed Pokemon, that is to say Lilith had only used it to get it to its evolved state. If Pidgey was actually one of Lea's main Pokemon the fight was actually in her favor, despite appearances.

Lilith decided to start it out carefully. Ordering Beedrill to stay at a range and attack with Twineedle. However, Pidgeotto just dodged and on Lea's command knocked Beedrill out with a Gust.

This was the first time that Lilith had lost to Lea. It actually felt almost good to have an actual fight. Almost. Lilith kept a confidant exterior as she pulled off her white jacket, shoes and socks and tossed them on the ground but inside she was panicking. While it had never happened before what if she lost? So, when Lilith was closing on Lea she was stopped by a sandstorm whirling into existence around her.

Sandstorm wasn't a move that Pidgeotto could use but whipping up sand was possible. Lilith however didn't stop and closed on Lea. In close quarters Lea was stronger but Lilith was faster.
