I went to the Netherlands this summer, and visited a couple of saunas.
First in Rotterdam, I went to Thermen Holiday, near Schiedam. It was ok, a large garden with saunas plus a main swimming pool with saunas. The drawback is that the area is so large that there wasn't a very high density of "sights"

. This was on a weekday. I also got really scolded by a woman for having followed her (I didn't, not really, but I were going from sauna to sauna looking for an occupied one, and ended up entering one with two girls that I had previously shared a hot-tub with). I have the impression that Sauna Elysium would have been a better choice, but it wasn't easy to reach with public transport.
Then I went to Sauna Art Deco in Amsterdam. My timing was awful, I guess, as I went there on a saturday evening, and there were almost nobody there. The only attractive woman I saw was in a towel and leaving from her massage. I guess its a good sauna when there are people there, as it is pretty nice and compact. Its reputation probably gives it a fair share of curious tourists too.
Then I went to Sauna Van Egmond in Harlem, and spent the Sunday there - from 11 to 11

. Brilliant. Both a very nice place - beautiful sauna, good restaurant, nice movieroom. Also, it was pretty compact, easy to meet people (only sauna where I really ended up talking to people) and of course you got up close and personal with beautiful women. Nice. By far my favourite.
Finally I went to Thermen La Mer. Also pretty good - outside of Amsterdam in Almere. Again the "drawback" is that it has a large, outdoor area which spreads the visitors out, but there were plenty of aufgusss that drew people together, so it worked out better than Thermen Holiday in Rotterdam.
