In 1977 the organisers of the Miss USA pageant brought an injunction against Bill Flesher’s use of the name “Miss Nude USA”, which they thought was too close to their title and so he had to change the name. After much wrangling he settled on “Ms Nude International (USA)” similar to a title that he used in 1973.
The Fleshers had now built a stage along one side of the pool were able to erect various painted backdrops behind the contestants and the theme for the first
Ms International (USA) 1977 was of a Roman (or Grecian) city scene. As was pointed out by Jennysathome, the competition was won by Jane Peters but pictures are hard to come by: Sniffles77 posted some small “photos-of-photos” a few years back (see link below), but I’ve never seen any of them full size.
