One year some friends of mine decided to host a small haunted house for Halloween. It was in an older Victorian style home that was divided into two homes. The half of the house that we used wasn't occupied at the time and the other half was lived in by one the friends whose idea it was to host it.
Well, we put it on for about a week before Halloween mostly by word of mouth and a few flyers around the neighborhood. Surprisingly, it was a success and we had a lot more people than anticipated or expected.

My character was sort of a vampire looking guy... black clothes and a cape. I had a niche in a hallway and I had perfect view of anyone coming down the hall so I could jump out at the right time and scare the daylights out of whomever came through.
Well, one night a group of young ladies came through and I jumped out and did my thing.... At which the reaction of one of the ladies was to give me a shot to the groin with a doubled up fist. I didn't know what to do.. it hurt like hell but I didn't wanna double over with pain either. So, I stood there trying to scare them still. Well, the girl that punched me, realized what she did and got real close to me and put her hand on my crotch and looked at me and whispered ... "I'm really sorry".... And they moved on....

Well, the story has a happy ending... turns out that she left her phone # for me at the end and of course I called her and we dated for quite a while ....
