Default Work Documents

Nothing earth shattering here. A couple of decades ago when office workers didn’t have their own PCs with Microsoft Word on it, I worked in an IT department in a mainframe environment. The mainframe had some rustic word processing software, with all of the data stored on the mainframe. My boss was concerned that these documents were filling up the mainframe disk, and told me to look through the documents to see what kind of documents people were creating, in order to come up with a purging strategy.

So with a high security level and orders to look at documents, I started to read employee’s personal documents that they wrote at work. I didn’t find anything too great, but here are the only three really personal documents I can recall reading:

There was a receptionist that was a heavy black woman in her thirties. I didn’t find her attractive, although in a few weak moments I probably ogled her big black breasts. She had a letter addressed to her husband. I don’t know if she actually intended to give the letter to him, or if she wrote it as a cathartic therapy session. She talked about how she thought their marriage was failing and her personal feeling s about it, their lack of communication, her self-esteem issues, bla bla boo hoo. Then she mentioned “the sex”, and something to the effect of, “I’ve tried to do all of those things you want me to do, even though they make me feel degraded.” Unfortunately she didn’t elaborate on which sex acts degraded her.

One woman wrote what was clearly meant to be an ad for a dating service. More of a legit lonely hearts thing, not sexual. I just remember her starting with, “Attractive divorced woman, 42,…” I was a few years younger and stopped and thought about it for a minute, and concluded that yes, it was an accurate statement, she was attractive. It was just unusual hearing a woman promote herself that way.

One very pretty and busty MILF in her forties wrote a letter to a lab asking about the results of the biopsies that had been done on her breasts. Not sexy, but for the next year or two whenever I checked her out in the hallways or by the coffee machine, I was secretly relieved for her and myself that the biopsies were apparently negative and her wonderful MILF breasts were as healthy as they looked.
