Second "NO" experience was when I was on active duty in the USAF. I did a travelling road show, teaching at several different bases. At one (Wright-Patterson AFB), I was approached by a younger, female NCO who got very friendly (but not inappropriately so) when we both in uniform. I didn't mind talking to her, but when she mentioned getting together off-duty, I politely declined (I've never played around on my wife, and I'm certain she's never played around on me). Unfortunately, I did mention I was going to go to the USAF Museum after work.

Of course, I get to the Museum, and there she is...bra-less, in a TIGHT tee-shirt and SHORT shorts. I had a very hard time ditching her, but she finally got the message and left, quite annoyed.

The next day, I was approached by a senior sergeant in the unit I was visiting. It seemed he'd overheard my talking with the female the day before and had wanted to warn me that the woman was famed for sleeping with aircrew members, visitors, etc. Since he was a supervisory position, too, he was also aware she'd had to be treated several times for VD! Would've been nice if he'd told me that the day before!
