Woman facing charges after naked walk

A 20-year-old woman was arrested after Fairfield County Sheriff’s deputies found her walking naked in the middle Shell Beach Road, backing up traffic around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday.

The Thornville woman told deputies that she had taken “two hits of acid” and was walking to get her son, according to police reports. The woman continued to walk away when a passing motorist gave her a shirt.

Deputies took the woman into custody and drove her to her home to get clothes before arresting her and found her door wide open. The woman resisted arrest, according to the report, and somehow slipped out of her handcuffs once. She was later taken to the Fairfield County Jail and is expected to be arraigned on multiple misdemeanor charges: public indecency, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct
