Default Wife's Exam

I have probably posted this story before and apologize for the repetition.

We got married in April 1981. My wife is of Malaysian national origin, but ethnic Chinese. I had previously applied for a government job involving working overseas. The job came through while we were visiting my family in Missouri and my wife had to get a comprehensive medical clearance then and there. We went to the medical clinic my family in the small town about 10 miles from our farm for the procedure.

I went with my wife, and stayed with her during the exam. She was not nervous, she had worked in various jobs in medical practices since she was 15 (including working in a VD clinic). When it came time for the gown to be removed the doctor and two nurses (one older and one new one) saw that her chest was covered in "honeymoon" hickeys.

The younger nurse did not recognize them for what they were and asked the doctor about the "skin lesions". The doctor and older nurse then started joking about the condition saying such things as "They are temporary, but will likely return after they go away." This went on for several minutes as the doctor and nurse tried to outdo each other in saying innocent remarks that had double meanings. After a while, the younger nurse caught on and her face was as red as my wife's.
