I believe it was here at OCC in this or a similar thread, someone used the term
"plausible deniability".
I think that term fits the mindset of my wife perfectly, and probably your wife as well.
I got to thank that person, as he precisely nailed my wife with that term.
Maybe your wife yearns to be seen naked, yet needs to be
innocent of any hint of exhibitionism, as does my wife.
That is, my wife would never, ever consider flashing anyone. Too overt.
Becomes hurt and upset if the word exhibitionist is ever mentioned in regard to her lack of clothes.
Yet she thinks nothing of being topless or nude at a beach where others aren't.
Yet she runs around the patio and back yard like it's a nude resort, knowing neighbors can see thru bushes and from 2nd floor windows.
Yet has been surprised while sunning nude by neighbors and friends coming thru back gate, but won't lock it.
Yet she walks the dog for miles in residential areas wearing thin-worn-out T-shirts with no bra, and pretty big hangers swaying.
Yet she seldom closes the blinds, etc. etc.
