My mom was raised on a farm. As such, worrying about privacy isn't a big thing. While she did spend a few years in towns during her college years, my parents returned to living in farm houses until I was about 6 years old, when we moved to a small town. By that math, she would have only been 26 at the time.

This is to explain why she wasn't in the habit of closing her bedroom curtains when dressing or undressing.Until one day she was getting dressed and happened to look out the window to see two of the neighbor boys looking up at her. Not sure how much they saw, or how often, but needless to say, she kept her curtains shut tight after that.

I'm curious how you heard this story- did your mom tell you about neighbor boys watching her undress? Would have been interesting to have heard it from one of the guys years later!
