This young woman, Suzanne (Pauline Etienne), is forced by her family to be a nun. She hates it and is mistreated, and in this clip the prioress is looking for letters she has written to and from home and stashed in a floorboard. In an effort to humiliate her, the mother superior orders her to be stripped naked saying that if they can't find the letters in the room, they must be on her person.
