This blonde girl posing above with the almost upstanding guy is called Keri Graham. She was a contestant on Britain's Got Talent a couple of years back (google her name...). I had no idea who she was but I have never seen a girl love the cameras more at a WNBR event. She was more than happy to pose with assorted people. I uploaded few of her as she went by at various points but didn't bother seeking her out at any of the stops.
I saw her posing for some jazz mag-type shots on the other side of the fountain when I was at Old Steine snapping dancers. She certainly wasn't shy and seemed to relish the attention she got from the pervs.
The number of women riding in Brighton was way up this time, even with the fact that many regular faces were missing.
As for London, there are five other starts besides Hyde Park. I've heard Regents Park is the best one - a good number of participants but not overrun with the iPhone warriors. I shouldn't have covered the start at all - it's always crap. I was going to do Piccadilly and The Mall. Then I was going to do Waterloo Bridge and Lincoln's Inn Fields. But I scrapped these plans because of the absolutely horrific traffic - vehicle and pedestrian - all round central London, largely due to Trooping the Colour.
