For some reason, every description I've ever read of this said that she was in the bath for the entire episode, but in actuality it's only a 90-second scene. Maybe it just felt longer to the horny teenagers of the early '80s.
It's also possible that there may be another "Valerie Bertinelli in a bubble bath" episode, though I'm not sure what the likelihood of that would be. I recall reading a description once which stated that there was an episode about an open house at the apartment with prospective tenants continually coming in to look at the bathroom, with Valerie in the bathtub for the entire episode. It's possible whoever wrote that was conflating two episodes, or even thinking of an episode of an entirely different show altogether. If this sounds familiar to anyone, please post.
