With the far-from-trivial caveat that pre-2006, in the days before Daviddavin/Klondike (and are there any others so antediluvian as to discern Riverslug from the shifting mists of time?), that is to say the ineffable coupling of modern equipment and that unsurpassed eye, exemplars were often woefully tiny by our current standards, here's my little conceit: pre-ride pictures conjoined with how they looked in medias res (first two from '04, though this was not their only ride, third from '03)...
