Chinese artist in trouble for photographing nude models in Beijing’s Forbidden City
Quote:
A Chinese photographer named Wang Dong (a.k.a. “WANIMAL”) is in a bit of trouble after getting caught taking pictures of nude models at one of Beijing’s most visited landmarks.
According to The Mirror, the artist is being accused of profanity after posting photos to his Weibo account of models cavorting around Beijing’s Forbidden City in the nude. Located in the city’s center and accessible via the Palace Museum, the complex was the home of some 24 emperors and served as China’s political capitol for almost 500 years. Security footage shows the plucky pornographer and his fellow history buffs were inside for about 20 minutes before museum security ejected them.
In addition to posing topless, one model can be seen straddling a marble dragon head, which seems like it would be a hazard to the ancient relic whether or not the person was wearing clothes.
