Default Robin Hood Resort in Union WA.

Hi Guys;

Sheila and I are back from our anniversary stay at Robin Hood Resort in Union WA. We had a nice time too. It was built by Don Beckman back in the early 1930's. He was the set designer for the original "Adventures of Robin Hood" movie in 1930.

We ever stayed in cabin No.1, one of two built in 1934. It has been somewhat up dated as to heat etc. But a lot of the original character still remains. Sheila found this on Living Social site and booked a few days for our yearly anniversary getaway.

We've been married 12 years now (been together 18) boy time fly's. Here are a few pictures from there. The only down side is it 17 miles to town for food etc. There is a nice restaurant on site and a few others eight to ten miles away. The on site one is only open at night so if you want breakfast etc. you need to do a little driving.

Great spot for oysters as all you have to do is go get them on their beach. We enjoyed ourselves enough to think about going back next year and do it all over again.

Ever see a trillium? They only grow in limited areas and somewhat uncommon. If I remember right at the foot of a redwood on the south side in the shade. I've attached a picture of one. And you can see one at Sheila foot as were hiking the trails at the resort. Picking parts off of a trillium plant can kill it even if the rhizome is left undisturbed.
