FYI-Brazilian Tanlines
Brazilians worship the sun. They pride themselves on having great tans. They actually have tanning contests. But since many Brazilians are of African, Caribbean, or native American ancestry, they are dark skin to start. That makes it hard for pale skinned people to compete. So to show off how good a tan they have, many pale skinned Brazilians keep their tanlines. Some tanning contest judge them by the contrast - the darkest exposed skin compared to the palest covered skin. It is like handicapping in golf. You might have as dark a tan as another contestant, but if your tanlines are really pale white, you can win.
