I don't remember it back as far as 1970. My memories of that mall are from the mid to late 70s. Spent a lot of time there back in the day. I miss the old design of the mall. It's been updated and modernized within the last few years. Cold and sterile to my eyes. I miss the wooden railings, elaborate fountains and funky ceiling tiles.
