Also, if you use Media Player Classic http://www.divx-digest.com/software/...r_classic.html, you can pause a video file, then go to...

File-
Save Image-

That will allow you to save a snapshot in bmp format. Then you need to convert to a gif or jpg with your preferred editor (once again, Irfanview http://www.irfanview.com/main_download_engl.htm is great and FREE). Note: I have tried this method (using Media Player Classic) with Real Media files with success. This is the first time I ever got screencaps with Real Media. I figured I'd pass this info along in case we start seeing RM files here.
