Sorry to hear about the SIL...
With kids, it can be tricky to be sexy/kinky around the home... so we party outside the home. Otherwise.... they can do homework/play video games or play outside with friends which keeps them busy for a while.
Also, our bedroom door has a lock on it. Which has come in handy while we are in the middle of getting busy.
