Like the idea! Well written and a good concept here!
I especially like what you do in one particular area: You start off with two situations here in part 1 where she experiences bad luck, but at the same time good luck when it's not noticed. This is, to me, a very good buildup in an ENF story. A few close calls, she starts to think she has luck on her side...and boom!
I will follow this with excitement!
