Default Bad advice

It tries to make me use their virus protection and buy the deluxe version. Thanks.
When downloading software, you want to get as close to the original source as possible. For 7Zip, that link would be:
http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

Ok, so I did that and got a bunch of junk that has taken all day to get rid of.
Still two left, one of which when I click un-install installs it again!!
Another says "preparing to uninstall, and does nothing.
To top it off, I click on a .rar file in 7zip and get a list of the .jpg images in it.
But clicking on an image gets no results except to say no file selected!
All that trouble for a non-working app.

Lots of us have simuilar problems and really want .zip files instead.
