Actually, for me for almost a year it was strictly handjobs.
Less worry with clothes, not as obvious from a distance (since as a teen most places were semi-public), and no worry of pregnancy. But there were other hazards, especially since young guys have this tendency to "spray" when they shoot, often making a mess everywhere. On more then one date I would have to "accidentally spill" something on my blouse to cover up spots.
Oral sex was something I did start to help hide that, but the consistency is something I can take or leave. A tablespoon or two of warm snot is the closest I can come to as being my initial impression. While I do enjoy giving head, swallowing is not particularly a favorite part, but I do enjoy it, if nothing else because it is a positive sign that I did a good job, and that it increases the chances they will return the favor.
But I also learned that all guys taste different. My ex-fiancée had UTIs most of his life, so drank lots and lots of cranberry juice (probably a quart a day at least), and he probably had the sweetest cum I ever tasted. I also learned that giving head the day after an Italian meal (or anything with a lot of garlic) is not a good idea.
