My girlfriend and I graduate from masters programs this winter so we have a somewhat unusual/temporary living situation for now. Being in a college town with mostly 12 month leases we decided to live together renting a bedroom month-to-month in our landlord's townhouse. We spend almost all of our time in the bedroom so we can have privacy and often have friends over to drink in our room before and after walking to bars.
Well one night my girlfriend's best friend came out with us and we all got pretty drunk. The friend (fake name Ann) came back to our room where we all kept drinking and she waited for a ride. So my girlfriend and Ann were sending snapchats of themselves dancing around and Ann would post the funniest ones to her snapchat story.
For those of you that don't know. Snapchats are only viewable to the the person you send it to one time. However, if you post it to your story then anyone that you are "friends" with on snapchat can see the picture(s) or video(s) as many times as they want in 24 hours.
Eventually my girlfriend changed out of her going out clothes while kind of still dancing around. Ann was in the room and my girlfriend didn't care because they are friends, previous roommates, and have seen each other naked several times before. Well Ann recorded about a 20 second video of my girlfriend in which shes dancing/changing. It goes from her being topless to just wearing a thong, to her wearing a shirt and thong, to a medium distance shot of her naked and freshly shaved vagina, then an extended close up of her bare ass as she pull on sweat pants.
That's when my girlfriend noticed Ann recording and they did their "Oh my God!" freak out and joking around thing and Ann promised to only send it to me and my girlfriend and not save the video. My girlfriend watched Ann to make sure she didn't save or send it to anyone else but Ann accidently posted it to her story too.
About an hour later my girlfriend looks at her phone and she had a bunch of random texts. That's when we all found out what happened. She was mortified as Ann removed the video and checked who had seen it. Ann read off the names of 27 people, which included my girlfriend's old lab partner (a guy she thought was creepy), 3 of my girlfriend and Ann's coworkers (2 were guys), Ann's lesbian friend, Ann's ex boyfriend (my girlfriend and him mutually hated each other), and other people we didn't know.
My reaction was that we'll get Ann back for this in a similarly naked fashion.
