Default agree

Yes, tend to agree with your defintions. I think of retro are a time that you can relate to as a teenager/young man and vintage as something before that.

The thing I like about retro is that some of the ladies are just like like girls I knew, neighbours or friends of my parents but I never associated them with this kind of stuff at the time. In my mind only models and the like got naked for the camera. - Wrong!

Back when Polaroids were usually what everyone used to take their own personal porn and photo labs were so strict as to what they could print for amateur photographers. I had my own darkroom setup way back in 1955, where I developed my own work. Mostly, that was black and white in the beginning and then I moved on to color slides and occasionally color printing. I have a vast collection of much of my own work with my first wife and other ladies I've known. Anything from glamor to XXX rating were my favorites.

Then, there's "vintage" which would be in the date range of the 1940's on back. Lots of those older days when our grandparents were dabbling in porn and risking public exposure of their fetishes--but it's good to see that our forefathers also had the same tastes as many of us do today. Interracial was especially taboo, finding much on that subject from the early 1900's is quite rare but some does exist--likely from Europe where their tastes were far less restrictive and the stigma of mixed-race porn was more accepted.

So. Vintage, or retro? There's no true definition that I can find to answer that, but like some have said here, 1970 is not vintage. I've also seen some of my own photos reposted in "vintage" threads which makes me feel really OLD!!

Here are a few of mine I've shared here and on other sites, these are from the 1960-time. I do hope you'll like them.
