So, when I told her what I had done, she shook her head a little. The next words were not what I expected to hear.
I expected "... you and a drunk buddy did what?...Your PTSD is acting up, time for a trip to the VA..... or even you should have asked me first."
She just smiled and blew my socks off
"I'm not surprised" she started "you have a big heart inside that thick skull of yours. You are the toughest teddy bear, really sometimes." followed by a big hug
