Well, I just happen to know that Sheriff Beaufort P Justice was on that night and gave him a call, asking him to stop by at his convenience and to see if that department would have any suggestions, we were half drunk, firing off guns, and burning lots of paper by the time he arrived, but we managed to slur the idea out to him in our best way.
He listened carefully, then said if we were serious, really serious, meet him the next morning for breakfast and he might be able to help this cause.
