My carry gun's a Ruger LCR .357 Magnum. I do most of my practicing with Ruger LCR chambered for .22 LR. It's a lot cheaper to shoot and much more comfortable as well. The Magnum gets pretty uncomfortable after a few dozen shots even using .38 Specials.
