Once when I was younger, I was boogie boarding and I was riding about a 4 ft wave when a double wave caught me and tumbled me over the front and under the water... I can remember it vividly. I did a number of twists under the water and I couldnt get to the surface. The power of the waves had me completely out of control and my bottoms were instantly pulled right off me. This all happened in about 3 seconds and about 10 seconds before I could surface. After the waves had past, I was in waist high water and I had to call to my friend on the shore to bring me a towel.
