It's very simple. The blurred photo had a watermark, so the photo was removed.
The un-blurred photo had the watermarked removed (edited out), so it to was removed.
I have also found just the opposite of the above. Where the Blurred photo had no watermark and
the un-blurred photo did, which means the blurred photo had the watermarked removed before it was posted.

The Moderators also look for copyright symbols or the word "copyrighted".
