Having grown up in Oklahoma in the late 40's and 50's, I can sure attest to the atmosphere there. It was very rare to see a black man with a white woman, and this was in the 'big' city. Since then I have been in and out of Oklahoma in the 80's and later. I have sure seen more white women with black men, though many still look down on the situation.
I have met some white women who would love to hookup with a black guy if the situation was good for it to happen.
I know that I have met a few black women I would have loved to get to know better.
