Those sites are much farther apart than many and how they are now most places.
Seems like you are from somewhere we spend a lot of time camping. We loved Peninsula State Park and all of Door County. Also nice public campgrounds along with one clear at the tip. Fish boils and cherry pie was great. Many flashing adventures by my wife.
Forgot where Wildcat Mtn was. But sure we've been there. Maybe Indiana or upper Illinois? Kickapoo river and Kickapoo St park are nearer Joliet I believe. Been many years but you brought back some exciting memories.
