Even as she awaited the queen's word to begin, Jamie caught the murmured compliments of the crowd. At least half the eyes were on her, but as long as she did things right, she liked it that way. In the final moments before the match began, the Redcap carefully sized up her opponent.
She looked like she might have a little elf in her, but that wasn't all. Her robes meant she was probably a mage, so that meant she'd need to finish this as quickly as possible. Get up in her face and stick to her. That was how she'd win. Jamie figured those robes would make it harder for her to move around, so as long as she was quick about it, she didn't expect much resistance.
And just like that, the fight began.
"Ready or not, here I come!" Jamie smirked, kicking up a plume of dust as she broke into a sprint, soaring towards Raine with furious speed. Assuming she reached her before the mage could counterattack, Jaime would send a flurry of punches and grabs right at Raine's chest and midsection, attempting to pluck away at her robes and rip them away bit by bit, or at least begin dismantling them...
