Default Finally it's tomorrow

I had a tough time this morning over lunch at work explaining the ride to the folks am with (so far away from London at this time). I got mixed reactions from laughs to horrendous stares, even one calling it gross and even a few having heard of it in the news (That's what I expected! It made news). Another lad threw me this question: "So, who wins the race in the end? Any medals? ". And I got this for him: "Ever read Alice in Wonderland? The caucus race? In the end, Everyone has won, except that the prize here is having been one of the privileged few of having completed it". I of course got on with a little bragging (couldn't help it!) of my antics in the yesteryears and challenged 'em to go and find me out on the Net

Am praying everything turns out perfectly esp regarding the weather as there's quite a bevy of lovely English, Iberian, Italian, East European ladies (personally know three of the lot I've searched just now on FB) signed up, much much more than last year - as Brighton was last week, this looks like the making of a landmark year! Week after that, I've got a date with the Three Lions in Brazil and a taste of its beaches, lol... crazy weekends...
